The force gpu option was already selected for me and chrome doesn't work. I know they got it working on cm9 bit I don't remember what they had to do.

I'm loving this from by the way. Its working great!
 
Hey austrie with the new build when I go to apps in settings and click on one to uninstall it force closes as soon as I click on it so it won't let me uninstall just letting u know and thanks for all of your hard work
 
The reason I ask for logcats is because I don't have this ROM installed on my phone. I'm on my vacation and I need to take pictures. If I wasn't on vacation I would've flashed this ROM by now. So a when bug appears, I'll try to fix it, but without a logcat I don't know reason why the bug is happening. I would need a logcat of uninstall force closing.
 
Does this still have the Netflix not being able to stream issue as CM9 or has that been able to be fixed here? Was also curious if anyone had tried Voxer on this and was getting notifications? On Miui Reportaled the notifications never came through so I always had to check the app to see if I missed anything. Wasn't sure if that was a Miui thing or just that version (they work fine on Froyo and CM7).

I am running CM9 currently and was thinking about switching over to MIUI and just see how it is. If I backup CM9 (duh), and install MIUI, would I be able to Advanced Restore my /data from CM9 into MIUI or would that ruin ruin things. I'm just trying to think of how to do this efficiently and still have my apps. Can't wait to try it!

Get Titanium Backup free (or the paid version if you can/want) and make a backup of all your apps, user and system and backup data as well. Once you install MIUI just restore all the apps.
 
I'm having trouble, my wifi and 3G just stopped connecting, I went back to CM9 and it all works, I'm on 7.7, I wiped and all that jazz to see if it would work. It's still not working. Any help?
 
the themes app is still not changing for me i tried numerous themes from miui theme store and none are working was hoping would work
 
Having the same issue. I've tried several MIUIv4 themes and only half of the theme applies (lockscreen and icons apply but dialer and notification bar do not). Also having the uninstall fc's but the site won't let me attach the logcat. I will try again.
 
As I have said before MIUv4 is not completely done; especially theme manager. It just got lockscreen support this week(2.4.20), maybe next weekly update...
 
I'm not complaining and yes I understand the ROM is still in Alpha stage, I'm just letting you know like everyone else does :)
 
Also when you are in a call and try to mute it won't even with the button on :o I'm happy you got RIL working though :)

tried the rom i really love it ! its a bit laggy compare to CM9 but as soon as its smooth im switching. MIUI is very cool:D

SpeedDemon would be great on this ROM, but I wasn't literally tracking my changes. So I can't do them over once I did them. I guess tha's what I get for bad documentation...

Lol o-well its nice work man like others say its laggy but I've been using it, tried some tweaks but nothing fixed lag sadly.
 
Lots of settings FC. Otherwise the rom is really nice. The USB mounting android looks really low quality btw :p

Oh yeah, vibration for notifications doesn't work either
