Root [ROM][PORT][DISCONTINUED]Party Time JBS v2.4

Well guys, its been fun. Getting a Evo 3D in about an hour. I'm going to be over on that side now. You guys can take over and make this party endless! Its been fun. I couldn't pass this deal up. 85 bucks with it flashed to boost
 
I built a ROM for my HTC hd2 never done any port work though. I'm willing to take over this ROM if you can give me a hand with it.
 
Either I don't understand what the problem he is having actually is, or something is just wrong with his phone because everything in my lockscreen settings works, face recognition and all
 
My face recognition also isnt responding
Maybe its on my end but since the V2.4 update for party time they haven't worked.

The information ticker in settings/security (news, stock, and Facebook)
Is not working. I've been trying to fix it since I crashed the party, but haven't gotten anywhere. The ROM is missing a lot of files with need to be ported from the Galaxy, but I believe if I had the base ROM your porting from, I may be able to get somewhere.

Side note:
Who ever decides to pick up this project, let me know, I would love to help, or if you would like to start a new ROM, I want in, lol

If we can come up with about 15 to 20 members with computers, know how, intelligence, time, and patients, I believe we can get a fully functional, and stable version of cyanogen mod 10.1 or Kang.
We need to start a thread and get this ball rolling, first thing we needs is someone to build it from source, because I don't know about u guy's but I want my cameras fully working front and back. If anyone knows how or knows anyone that may be able to lend a helping hand, pls pull them in and get as much info as you can and share with everyone to speed up the process.

About the information ticker, it does seem to be missing.
Also I have only 6.6 MBS of internal storage in my /system partition.
The clock and a few other system apps didn't install when I flashed.
They aren't necessary apps to me but to some they may be.
 
Well if it is easier to collaborate using irc since we all have computers head to the freenode server #oudhitsquadRush much easier to collaborate in real time.
Not to mention #oudhitsquad is right next door. You can say hi to Shabbypenguin and interloper.

I'm willing to take over the ROM. Just never worked on anything from port. The cynogenmod team has nothing for this phone as of yet. So unfortunately everything has to be done from port. As far as things not working on the ROM I have 0 issues with this ROM. Cameras all work....GPS works....face recognition don't but I could care less about that. Didn't come stock with the phone so its no biggie. Some people kill me with the complaints. Nobody gets paid to do any of this. Its all volunteer. I'm gonna start messing with the ROM over the weekend hopefully sckboy can get with me on a few things. I have some ideas where I wanna go with this just don't how much different its going to be building from a port build then it was from a source. Guess we will see. Anyone wants to help me pm me and we can get this started.
 
No, but I have noticed that if I have something like that working and I flash a new rom it says working unless it explicitly removes it, like going to stock. I don't know if it is just my phone being tweaky or these phones in general.

Went back to stock today, I was never able to get SMS or MMS to work. Wifi would constantly forget my hidden wireless, Blutooth wouldn't connect to anything (I use it in my truck) and it kept crashing my TSF Launcher.

So until these are fixed, I'm sticking with stock.

I never use the built-in wifi stuff I use Wifi Analyzer. If you follow Shaunjohn's guide for MMS it works fine. Uninstall APN app cuz it is trial and it expired, install APN Pro, convert it to system app THEN edit the APN for BoostMobile to the setting he posts in this thread. Dunno about your Bluetooth, mine work fine, but I'm not using it for a headset, just moving files back and forth to my computer. Let me know if you are having problems getting APN Pro.
If you give me a little bit of time, I'm uploading all of the files and whatnot needed to get my phone where it is. Dunno if I should post a new topic or what. Putting it all on dropbox to make it easier for everyone to get all of the files, kind of a one stop shop.
