Root [ROM][Port] MokeeMod

anyone having issues with the market. I installed the new stock fe16 then flashed this and couldn't download anything. i was able to login via market and as soon as i would try to download an app it would crash. every time i open it after initiating a download, it would immediately crash... any ideas? i was forced to roll back to ctmod in the mean time.

try wipeing the data and then unistall and then use this to reinstall View attachment 33224, need to flash this in cwm. then sign in and will update and maybe will be ok. works on ctmod!!!!! worth a shot.

Just letting everyone know that i haven't given up on this port beta 3 almost finished just triple checking everything and thanks everyone for pointing out the bugs huge help

also converted some themes to mdpi ^_^they will be included
 
Dude this rom is cool kinda chose it above others and its working great for me.have you considered porting an aokp rom? I was looking into a gummy aokp but I lack the knowledge . I would appreciate if you helped me do this. Thanks man.
 
Hey ya'll, not sure where to post this so I'll post in both Mokee thread and FE16 thread. I've recently encountered an issue with Google Play Store. It FC's anytime I try to download or update any programs.

I'm not sure if it's due to an issue with FE16 or what: I backtracked from Mokee to Lewa and even to FE16 stock usin ODIN and CWM backups and it still hasn't worked properly.

I'm wondering if anyone else has ran into this issue or has any suggestions?

uhm, at the top of the page here is a possible answer.
 
uhm that didn't work, play store still fcs when anything tries to be downloaded. I cleared data and cache partition and uninstalled then pushed with advanced, same issues.
EDIT: total format rewipe and ODIN to FE16

so far so good...wiped really well...can't have any dingleberries hangin around...FE16 stock was alittle fussy at first but I've got it working...next step will be install Mokee

EDIT: as soon as i installed Mokee went to market and fc's on download again

when installing the room on first boot did u select the first option on the setup wizard? if not that could be your problem
 
As soon as i get home ill upload beta 2.1 i took out exdialer and put the stock back into it still cant use stock dialer YET (almost have it working) but best bet is to download exdialer from market and use that but at least u can add and edit contacts again

yes, i selected com.android.provision or whatever it was exactly, I did not choose Setup Wizard (this time), I have selected Setup Wizard before and it didn't cause any issues but that time was before i updated to FE16 though

it may work but also when installing a lot of apps u will get a system fc thing just click wait that is just the sd to ext every rom does that after so many apps i dont know if that is what u are getting
 
well just to be sure I reformatted EVERYTHING I could and started from scratch..ODINed to FE16 and installed just Mokee and then followed everyone's suggestions and anything I could think of...still no go...Market works with FE16 and Stock only for me....any other ROM...Lewa Hroarks CM 7and Mokee do the same thing...I can get to Market and when I click on Update or Download something it FC's and only has option to close...from that point it will FC as soon as I click on the Market Icon....I don't know how to get a logcat of it.

CONFIRMED... Also, sent myself a photo from my girlfriends phone and received it but it wouldn't download... Kept saying "download of message was unsuccessful"...

Patiently waiting for 2.1... <---- LOL... still......

........Tried it again with the WIFI turned off and it worked fine...

Start with going into clockworkmod and hit fix permissions
When I go onto a new mod I usually do a factory reset and clear the dalvik cache
 
I tried with SMS split on and off, and I hit fix permissions in cwm same result. Really love this rom. With or without sending pics through text not flashing anything else anytime soon

I seem to have HALF ASSED figured out the "Contacts" issue... OK... So... After a little tinkering around, all I've done is extract the Contacts.apk and the Contactsprovider.apk from Hoarks CM7B5 and rename them to this... Contact.apk and Contactprovider.apk... Just drop the "s" so that its not trying to overwrite the existing Contacts.apk and Contactsprovider.apk in the system/app folder... ( You can overwrite the existing apk's if you want to... I didn't...) Then after renaming them... Drop them into the system/app folder... Set the permissions so that they match the rest of the .apk's in the folder... Then reboot... After doing that I have been able to Import my contacts from SD and sync my google contacts as well....

It was really pissing me off when I got a text from someone and I didn't have the number memorized... Just felt kinda weird... lol.... So yeah, HAD TO figure out something...
THIS IS ONLY A TEMP FIX... Hopefully Kris will have his next release with the contacts issue hashed out...

I really like the ROM, but I cannot get wifi to connect. When I use CTMOD I have no problem with wifi. I have the same problem with JoyOs, CM Kang. Anyone have a fix for this????:confused:

I have never had an issue with WIFI... I'm on this ROM (MOKEE) right now... And am currently connected to WIFI... So I'm not exactly sure why your having an issue... Maybe RE-WIPE and RE-FLASH.... IDK... Good luck to ya though....
