Root ROM Question

So Im running Shift3r v 2.3 IC3.

Everything works well, like the setup. Now seeing that the newer version seems to be the KIN3TX v1.0.

Is there a reason to switch? Are the updates for Shift3r not coming any longer? Is the battery life any better etc?

I dont mind swapping, but would like to hear from anyone else that may have made the switch if they are pleased. Thanks for the help.

I switch to kint3tx-blur-xoom, battery is great, rom is smooth. DT stop supporting shifter and purity. I am very happy with it.
