This is a beta release of CandyKat for the Zte Awe so please don't expect this to be 100% stable. Before flashing this rom I recommend you make a backup just in case. Please report and bugs you encounter, preferably with a logcat.

This is CandyKat. Built straight from SlimKat sources with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM. We aim to add more features as this project progresses. We have also come up with the Candy Sweetener Pack. This is an Aroma installer that is full of delicious treats. Inspired by the CandyShop thread on XDA it has everything from glow dots to halo mods. And can be found in the Themes and Mods section.

I'm going to make a flashable oC kernel that will work on all the kk ROMs. Removed for stability reasons. Also going to tweak it a little for more performance.

I'm having volume. control problems I can only control media volume with the volume up down button. have to use an after market application and no charge light when phone is off

I don't think none of the kitkat builts light is lite when phone is off changing never notice any volume issues with this particular ROM soon u won't have to worry anyways more tasteful things are in reach pretty soon

I don't post very often and I haven't tried a rom since using BACKside on the old Optimus V. I've been satisfied nicely just using the stock rom rooted but decided I'd take the plunge. Anyway after seeing the prolific amount of roms for this phone I decided CandyKat seemed pretty customizable. I am blown away! This is so cool and clean looking, I don't know what a lot of the Candy interface stuff does but I'll get there. Already downloaded most of the cool additional (Candy Wrappers) from the website.I use a simple free launcher called True that I'm used by now, I like my folders square :}, but I'm not maried to it. Great job everyone involved, and thanks for all the great work you do phenox4!
