well if you want something totally different then i would suggest pacman. do version 18 as 19 is not quite ready yet. it is an aosp rom but it has so many cool features pulled from cm10, aokp, and paranoid. i'm still on it. no matter what i flash i keep nand back to it.

make a nandroid backup and give it a go.

jamie and team LOTK also have rom box as well. this one is pretty cool as well, but still like pacman better.

for me though, i'm really getting tired of sense. with each new version of sense, it keeps getting larger and larger. i like aosp because they are small, light weight, and has given my phone the best performance. i like go launcher or nova as launcher of choice.

pacman has a tons of customizations as well that i love.

I second everything ocnbrze says. Sense ROMs are too big and bulky for me. I always prefer the light sleek AOSP ROMs. Pacman is definitely really different and fun. If there are any working MIUIs available, those are always great. But if you gotta have Sense then Viper is the way to go. It's got so much customization available, which I like a lot. And it's very solid and stable.

EDIT: Oooh, this one looks neat. It's called InfoRom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2166430

But it is just in beta right now.

EDIT 2: Just found another 4.2.x kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2178307

Even if you don't want the kernel, check that link out. They've put up a description of each of the million governors so you can see what they all do and pick the right one.
