okay folks I been at it again and made this for you introducing
SLIDE ROM
LOOK AT CHANGELOG
very themed based rom built using the 2.2.1 rom.
what's in it ? whole lotta stuff
you know what I'm about

how to install
download the rom and theme packs
place rom on your sdcard
wipe and flash that
unzip the theme pack inside you'll find many themes choose one of those and flash it no wipe needed

redid some icons
redid the notifications bar
added reboot and reboot recovery to power menu
added lockscreen wallpaper

I can't confirm these things so I'm hoping someone will confirm for me so I can port to romzero
 
Beautiful looking rom so in the sense based one but if I remember correctly there currently isnt a kernal or any support for 2.2.1 ROMs that support overclocking or under volting correct?
 
Someone else had an issue like yours what you wanna do is log into the market and then try to download something and then push the back key over and over until your out of the market. That fixed the issue. I'm gonna try and put the latest market in the next update
 
I'm gonna try again, just sucks cause I'm tethering :) it's the only internet I have right now. I just got tethering to work in linux today!
 
couldn't get recovery to work. screen number 1 has a widget that says it's having problems loading.

glad you mentioned the android market glitch.
 
Got it working, even added some a2sd functionality ;) great work man. I love the face lift you have the stock launcher. I too can't get to recovery from the power menu
 
Is it just me or is the notification bar white?.....anyone know if there is a way to change it? I just updated this from the previous rom so maybe thats why...
 
When you say you can't get recovery to work.. You mean you can't get to the custom recovery menu with pwr/hm/up or is this referring to something else?

I'm gonna look into it and get it working. The differences in software between the optimus v and the m is alot different. Even though you would think that it isn't. A couple for instances. For instance I can change the status bar signal icons on my phone in lge -res on your phone it's done in framework-res the default lockscreen wallpaper on my phone is in framework-res on yours it's in well I don't know yet but I'm guessing lge-res.
This is a pain in the ass :( . Flashback time. On my ole sprint hero I could basically just change a few things and use a rom from the legend, the mytouch or any other htc phone and it would be good. I love my optimus v but lg make it a pain.

Well thank you very much for working on roms for a phone you don't even use! I am currently using this rom and love it. I can finally use the stock launcher with satisfaction! Currently I am attempting to get the phone service working in the gingerbread rom.

No prob. I been setting up my linux partition so that I don't have to jump back and fourth between it and windows. I'm gonna start some tests this week on getting the gingerbread going again. It's too much of a pain in the ass trying to make a rom on three different phones.
One question for everyone. I am gonna turn the themes into adw themes and eventually cyanogen themes would this be preferred? instead of having to use the lg launcher.

I've had good results running slackware with win7 in virtual box when I need it.
