Root [ROM] Stock B07 JB 4.1.2 Unmodified and Deodexed

Oh... u pulled Chrome. I take it that the browser deal is to be left up to the end user? Not a problem, just curious. :beer::cool:
And I'm glad to help, this stock/deodexed ROM is doing me and a lot of other ppl a huge favor. In doing all this we also confirmed that junkie 's Cwm works fully. And that's Bangin'! All that can be done to make it any better is CWM Touch. Much appreciation to everyone that helped, you guys Rock!

Chrome is 47MB so removing it is 47MB I don't have to keep uploading and everyone has to keep downloading lol. You can install it from the play store if you want it or grab the apk and lib from the zip of removed files ;)
 
All ROMS in the OP have been updated to v9. Please report problems and successes so we can deal with them appropriately :)
 
I can confirm that the first two Stock and Stock + Root flashes OK.
I've tested Wifi and 3G data, not in 4G range.
I've tested txt and MMS and both work for both ROM's.

I did a factory reset and I wiped everything as well (cache and dalvik cache). Then I went into the mounts and storage and formatted everything again (cache, data, system, sd card- thought this was internal but it was my external card). So that is 3x for good measure.

I don't think CWM is formatting the second partition of the internal memory. This is b/c I noticed that my folders still come back from the phone when I check file manager. This I'm assuming is the data partition that the phone refers to as SD card 0.

Also, I made a phone call with the Stock ROM + Root ROM (forgot to do so with the Stock, Sorry!). And I noticed the proximity sensor may not have been working b/c as I talked on the phone the keypad was being pressed a few times. Which means the screen was still active. I tried a second call and the same thing. The screen would not go off. When I restored my phone I made a call and the sensor was working fine.

I restored my backup successfully as well after flashing the ROMs.

I will flash the last one as my daily driver, but since it was already tested I did the others first to report back.
 
@xman95 Thanks for the detailed review. I will look into the sensor issue :) Please let me know if the issue exists in the deodexed rom.

edit: uhh, not sure you should format carrier. That may be the cause of the problem. Is anyone else having this issue?

I actually didn't format carrier. Wasn't sure exactly what that does.

The deodexed ROM is working fine. The proximity sensor is working for calls. WiFi is working, haven't tested TXT or MMS yet.

The phone is so much better without the bloatware...


EDIT: Tested TXT and MMS. Sending and receiving works.
Also opened almost every app and setting to test things, and just about everything I tried worked.

One thing didn't work: System Settings/Mobile networks/ Connections Optimizer. For some reason the connections optimizer would not open. It gives the message that the android process stopped. I'm thinking this may have to do with one of the Apps that was removed???

Ok, glad everything is working with the deodexed rom. We'll see if anyone else has the sensor issue. Could just be something strange that won't happen to others. Thanks again for testing and reporting :)

Yes, I removed connections optimizer so it is unlikely it would work lol. If you want anything I removed, they are all in a zip at the bottom of the op ;)
 
Added warplte_stock_B07_with_recovery.zip to the OP. It will get you back to full stock with stock recovery.
 
I've been running your newest stock/deodexed/debloated for about a WK now and it's been perfect. Awesome job, bro! :beer::cool:
 
Is anyone experiencing audio garbles while playing music with any of these roms? I made a rom for a similar device and there was a problem. Just wondering if it has been tested on this device. Thanks.

YES!! I thought it was my audio player but several others did it too. I just didn't know if it was me. Sounds like someone bumping into a record player also..

Yes, that folder & 2 files are definitely there
 
okay so when i go to install zip.. it goes for a few seconds and then abort installation.. any way i can fix this for my zte warp 4g lte.. i messed it up my installing [root] Chainfire 3d.. ive tried about a dozen times and nothing..

Installation aborted.

i really need to get this phone fixed... someone HELP!

also i rooted with framaroot.. if that matters

Do you have Cwm? If not, get it immediately then make a backup. Have u tried toggling (off) Signature Verification? Try that next..

ok um well i cant get cwm unless maybe hmm idk well my phone is stuck at boot so.. can i install cwm through whatever im using right now? which is whatever gandulf is through framaroot
