Root [ROM] Stock B11 Deodexed & Unmodified

Might be a bad download or a bad flash. Have you tried reflashing it or redownloading it?

Also before you flashed this were you on ICS? if so you needed to flash the System_Prep_JB_warp2.zip file BEFORE flashing any B11 based rom

*Edit*
This is the post SuperR was talking about where the user had the same issue.

Help with mms issue

He never said exactly what he did to fix it so im not sure what fixed it but it was either bad download , bad flash , or he didnt flash System_Prep_JB_warp2.zip first

Well, not sure then. I run SuperROM_B11 and have no issues with sending or receiving mms. You could try that or another b11 based rom.

Quick question. Would installing GO launcher and using THAT launcher and themes mess anything up on this ROM? As in, messing up the tether I got working after taking forever (mainly) or anything else?

And with the mms issues, I have em too when I try to use Go messages, have to use stock message app to send videos at least. Pics work on GO sms but it seems the stock msg app is quicker and can send more at one time.

Should be fine. SuperROM is not themed

I only use stock Mms.apk and have no problems with sms or mms.

Is anyone else getting a FC on Google now/Velvet.apk? Hadn't had this problem until today after I updated a cpl apps but uninstalling them made no difference either. Same issue whether using themed/blackout version or stock white..

Problem solved. Had to convert to user app, reboot, convert back to system app. Same issue caused with my camera app. Must've happened when I let TB integrate updates into ROM. Fixed Now.:cool:

MMS doesn't work as well with 3rd party apps because boost doesn't allow the phone to automatically implement the APN settings. Most 3rd party SMS apps don't even have ability to add the APN settings manually. I finally came across Textra GREAT app first off. But you can manually add APN settings just have to Google Boost Mobile APN settings everything works for me :)

i have lenovo ideapad a2107-h
i read the guide and followed that step by step
in step 6 i got this error:
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") ...
so i delete this line in related file from zip files and retried

after complete installation and reboot my device, it will show me just LENOVO logo

any idea?:(

You're IN A thread that isn't your device and running programs that isn't made for your device... Sounds like you have a soft brick. Can u get to CWM?

Take a guess at what the assert you deleted is meant to prevent? That's right, flashing on a non-warp2 lol. You will be lucky if you did not brick your device permanently.

Be sure to only flash roms meant for your device or you will be unhappy with the results.

i know that my device is not compatible with this ROM, but i did! and now i am very very remorseful, so i can access to CWM and when i restoring my backup, it will be crash and gives error in restoring /system partition and says: format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p6 i think that ROM has changed partitions and it cannot be mount or something like this

It most certainly did change your partitions, especially if you flashed System_Prep_JB. Are you running a version of CWM for your lenovo or for the warp2? If you are running warp2 CWM, it is unlikely any of your backups will work as the /system and /data partitions are almost certainly in the wrong place. The best advice I can give you is to find your device thread and hope that someone can give you backup partitions that you can restore...then cross your fingers. As I said before, you will be very lucky if your device is not permanently bricked.

In the future, if the ROM won't flash on your device without you modifying its contents...it's probably not for your device.
