Wait a sec, is it possible to connect to non-LG U+ network using CA-201L baseband?

Warning!!!: Be carefull if you are using baseband M020, M040 or M050, you can safely flash to change between them. But dangerous if you want to flash Baseban_LE470.zip derect on it, in some case it get your machine lost IMEI and network..

I have a method and successed with this but not sure for you: direct flash SpecialBaseband_470.zip
If fail and lost IMEI :oyou must flash back baseband_M050.zip to solve problem ;)

So, you are using baseband_470 with 4.1.2 ROM? What do you flash first ROM or Baseband?

I'm experiensing regular shutdowns out from the box and on any ROM. Shutdowns are mostly not repeatable but most usual it happens if not block phone with power button. It can do autolock and shutdown. To switch on i have to pull out battery. I've found it to be most stable with 4.0.4 M020

LE470 should be compatible to my HW?

- My HW is the same with yours :p
- Now your baseband is LE327, you can flash Baseband_470.zip I think it is better for you..
- Problem auto shutdown...I have experienced and now it solved.
 
Currently I'm at 404 M020
Did you fix shutdown issue with ROM 412 from Doctoror? or any different recipe?

I see one bar signal strength of network on status bar :D. you are using system 4.0.4 build C811M020, I already used it and had some issues that you have. Since I change to M050_system from Doctoror no need to fix any thing...the shutdown issue disappeared :thumbup:

Yes, there is one bar on indicator but signal is good, it is just the bug in indication.
I was trying to instal 4.1.2 but phone didn't start at all, it was bootlooped, or hanging on Verizon logo. This is the only working config for me... But you encourage me to try again)

I thing it was bootlooped because you had not wipe any thing before flash rom. Try follow ( save 4.1.2 rom on external_sd)
1. Reboot to CWM, wipe cache patition, wipe data/factory reset, wipe dalvik-cache. Go to mount and storage to format cache, data, system,sdcard.
2. Install M050_system_boot.zip
3. When done! Go back and rewipe data/factory reset, wipe cache patition, wipe dalvik-cache.
4. Install Superuser if you need to root.
5. Reboot!
After that your old baseband still remain, u can flash baseband M050 later if you like :)
 
I just got my new Casio. I'm a little bit hasitant of what to do next:confused:. If you could advise what is suitable and latest on flashing. Need to get that in order.
Here're my specs:
Model-CA-201L(korean);
Android version- 4.0.4;
Baseband- M8960A-1.5.40_CA201LE470;
Kernel- 3.0.8;
Build#- CA201LU470_00;
Hardware- CA-201L_V3A.M01.
I've already flashed CWM & Root and wiped dalvik cache only and also backed it up with the CWM on my ext. SD card.
Is this here going to go along with the Korean device?

I dobt my english is better. Learned it in London-England for few years back in 2000. then I went to Maiami-US for a short while some 10 years ago, which was nice. Forgot spelling since then, but thanks anyway.
 
ok, so I've done what user khanhvmc posted on #58:o. And now my specs reed:
Model-C811
Android- 4.1.2
Baseband- M8960A-1.5.40_CA201LE470
Kernel- 3.4.0
Build#-C811M050
Hardware-0.3
That's it, but it restarted on its own in 10 mins after the first load. So for now it's safe to flush rom over the out of box on my ocasion. Will see how it goes in the upcoming days. Thanks for your experience here guys;)

So after few weeks over all things are going not bad, but I had 2 shutdowns , both are at night, when the phone was on the charge.
Wouldn't be so crusial if not the missed alarm ((
 
So I found out what makes my cell reboot ocasionaly-3 times in a day. Aparantly I was into seting my networx manualy so it just give to it a restart, but with the whole device along. Although once I was accessing the setings menu while it crashed, no solution, I wait & wait & wait and nothing, so got home and started all over it. Also disapointedly theCAmera is out of service.
Never mind I like this phone as it is rugged, my old one has drawn in the river, but this one is watter proof and has a mini meteo-station on it.
By the way the rom solved the sms issue and a bunch of other things. Oh, and the battery life has improved epicly with this here:).
Guys is it safe to flush the baseband on top of it as well?
 
I'm so frustrated, because I went fishing this morning :car: and catched a big catfish - my personal record, but couldn't take a picture with it:motz:. This camera issue is starting to get very serious problem for me. First time I'm realy pissed off.:(
I'll be flashing baseband050. I'm new at this flashing business and to me it looks like total mess. Do I've to sweep cache, data/factory reset and dalvik cache? If so when do I do that befor or after flashing or both?

No need to do wipe anything. Just flash baseband M050, camera will work :D
 
Thank you khanhvmc, I will flash only Baseband 050 tonight, directly on my stock E470 on my Korean smartphone. No wiping.:thumbup:

Last night but not not tonight I flashed it. And it's OK:p. So now camera is in order even it seems to focus faster then on the original stock I had. SMS is cool, also rooming is fixedout. There're still a bunch of things to play around with, but overall I find it nice and smooth.
The massege about sim unknown, have fixed it as khanhvmc user described in #5 of this topic. By the way the battery began to drain fast again.!? Pitty.
Big thanks to Doctoror user for being so smart and good going on his jobs. Also thanks on khanhvmc just nicely done guys. You are :star:
I'l write here if something new comes up:D
