Root Rom Suggestion

Anyone know of a sense rom that has a decently good battery life and some customization options?? I dont really care about anything else.. All i really do on my phone is text people and play Pokemon (dont laugh at me xD)

battery mostly does not come from the rom. it is mostly from the kernel. now some roms may have some tweaks that might help a little performance and battery life.

the best sense rom IMO is still mikg. some of the older sense roms though are good. tommy's classic, swagg, clean, and nitrous are all great sense 1.0 roms.

i think that the most innovative roms right now for the everlasting og evo are aosp roms. there are some pretty unique ones like the 4 kornerz rom. i'm gonna try the alienmod rom in a bit. some of the newer ones i just posted seem pretty cool as well.
 
I do like MikG's, it was the first custom rom i tried out. For now though im gonna go with nitrous.. Idk what it is about it but i just like it :D
 
There are some (really) old ones that run smooth. After MikG, my second favorite sense rom is Koni's Elite Series IV. It's old but it is gingerbread. And it got great battery life.

yes a blast from the past.....however the elite series IV was done by Diablo67 and not koni........but he did get promission from koni to update and theme his rom out. it is better in every aspect from series III, but it does keep the spirit of the old rom.

edit:WOW!!!! an ardchoille sighting!!!!!! good to see you back here........seems like old times...LOL

i still have mine so i figured that i can at least flash things and help out where i can. it is good to see this forum a little more active the past few days or so. i swear it still amazes me how many people still have interest in the og evo and even more impressed with that there are still devs out there creating really cool roms for the phone......most people do not realize how lucky we all were and are with our phone......i'm keeping my evo forever.....you most likely will see me buried with it in the end!!!!!

Yeah, so glad Diablo did an update to what Koni started. Koni's Elite Series III rom was the first custom ROM I ever flashed. Then I saw ES IV and had to flash it before moving on to deck's 1.3 (pre Reloaded)

deck's.. there's another ROM I remember getting hooked on. A phone will never go EOL, in my opinion, so long as these great developers are creating ROMs for them.
