Root [ROM] SuperROM_B09

OK, thank u. Will do & even try both.. and give you the results. What's the wiper's intended purpose anyway, if you know?

OK. Eliminating wiper app does no good. It seems the build &/or Kitchen doesn't like Nova launcher at all, unless it's because I exported (with app installer cuz it HAS that function, but never a problem installing exported apps on anything else before) it from MY Nova launcher. Stock-B09 (deodexed in kitchen) works fine tho.. Would the "ROM wipes data - No" command in kitchen be part of the problem since I already use Nova? Do I need to use a different framework or something to support a different launcher?

Not sure what the problem is. I removed wiper.apk altogether from SuperROM and no issues. Not sure about Nova as I don't like it either lol. Never heard of app installer. Your ROM should not wipe data, and when confronted with the following:
Code:
1 = Convert it to update-script (Amend format)
2 = Do nothing, keep updater-script (Edify format)
You should choose 2. I think the change wipe status is only available for update-script and not for updater-script and you really don't need to mess with it at all.

Hope it helps.
