Well, I know that while the mr2 radios will work, I know that some of the earlier ones had reboot issues. Thats why I ask. I had a lot of them on the one right before the OTA MR2, and still had a couple with it as well. Since I updated to MR3.5, I havent seen a single one. Its different for everyone though, and only a suggestion and may not be your actual issue.
 
quick question, how exactly do you overclock the kernel with this ROM..the last time i tried synergy (2 weeks ago) the main issue i had was the responsiveness of it, this flash it seems better, but still not incredibly smooth so I wanted to try OCing but I cant seem to figure out how...

Well, if you want an easy way to do it, I would recommend SetCPU. Theres a writeup here Ziggy471.com | VDD, smartass, and cpufreq sysfs interfaces and how to use them. done by Ziggy.

I run Dcofig on equal OC'd to 1.2 on lagfree or smartass and never see lag. If you go the SetCPU route, make sure that you uncheck set at boot until you find your stable settings. Once you decide your phones running stable enough, check at boot so that from now on, those settings will be set automatically when you boot up. If you dont, it will have the stock settings.

I can't figure out Dconfig...like the dropdown has the equal/battery/performance options, but how do you chaNge the governor and values (ie. 1.2)

Eh? You dont. Thats why I said you gotta use SetCPU. Dconfig is totally different. Read post three for more on DConfig.
 
As a heads up though, you can get SetCPU free and legally by being an XDA member, I would recommend supporting the dev for his hard work.
 
I installed setcpu and keep getting force closes, is there a new version that I should try? I downloaded the .apk a couple weeks ago from xda

Were you able to give it Superuser permissions? How did you install it? There hasnt been an update in a while. I believe theyre at 2.4.
 
I checked them, but didn't double check...I always have this problem though...my email pushes fine and everything works, I can see my inboxes under the mail app, but under accounts they are not there...I am going to try and re-flash and see what happens with that. I want to love this Rom I really do, but its still laggy for me, and the accounts thing is rather annoyig as well haha

Post about the Email issue on the repo and Ill push it up to the guys. I dont use exchange at all, and its completely removed from my phone.

As far as it being laggy...Im not sure. Do you let it sit 15/20 mins on first boot? I open the lockring to let everything open up and then go through the process. On first boot, I skip through setup and let it sit. 15/20 mins later, I reboot and start restoring my apps in TiBu. I never see lag when using my phone normally.

As for the lag, I am going to attempt to re-flash this now...and I am going to check the md5 again as well.. I usually just like to rush and set it up....But I could go ahead and let it sit for a bit and see if that makes the difference. I still can't SetCPU to operate correctly either, it just keeps freezing..I'm hoping a re-flash is going to vastly improve my current state

EDIT: I am not a member of their repo, so I can't post there I don't think.

It should, because honestly, thats just odd. Try downloading SetCPU again as well. Even the smallest files can get jacked up with a hiccup in your connection.

As for posting it on the Repo, thats the google code page. I posted that in the second post.

I just posted it on their repo (123 was my issue number I think) and I'll probably re-flash this thing tonight...I'm going into NYC tonight with my girlfriend, and I won't have time before I leave to take care of setting it all back up and what not...I should have some time tonight to take care of it though.

lmao...she probably hacked me and is making my phone time miserable! :D

One more quick question...when I re-flash and I have to do all my setup again...how do I prevent the market from downloading all of my apps so that I can restore them with TiBu bc it doesn't come with TiBu preinstalled.
 
So I all of this installed and working... or so I thought.

When I click the 'messages' widget on the main screen, nothing happens.

YouTube kept crashing so I had to uninstall it.

I try to change the wallpaper (it shows an option for 20 pictures but no pics show up) and it says, phone storage full and won't let me.

Any help?

also, the phone lags every once in awhile when I'm scrolling through things trying to message with it. Any way to get the phone to run faster and not lag?

Skip through setup. Just keep clicking next.
Go to tibus website and grab the apk. Toss it in synergyrom/userapps on your sd card and it'll install it automatically or just install it from the apk.

I just found 1 AnTuTu CPU Master Free v1.9. Works perfect so far.

I don't use the phone like most people, I'm fairly simple. Camera/text/calls/SOME games if im bored as hell.../SOME Navigation/internet...

I just like a lagfree phone that doesn't send text messages to the wrong people, a camera that actually loads... you get the point. Tnx btw for your help.

Also, is there a good min/max I should keep it at? I have it on lagfree at 245/1036.8

You should be good with that setting honestly. Maybe drop your min a little, and bump up your max if you see any lag. Other than that, you should be good to go. Sorry about SetCPU, Im not sure whats up with that one. Ill see if Zig can look into it.
