I been looking for a custom m140 rom and still aint found one, been reading thru all kinda threads where they mention it, but dont know if it dont exist yet or if im missing some workaround to use am m130 rom on 140 build.. AAGGHH.. what am I missing!!
ill keep looking but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, thanks yall

What I am mainly looking for is these options on shutdown, but have no idea how to acheive this on m140 build without installing the custom rom.. so if anyone can help with that.. it would be greatly appreciated (pic from Willister419's red pill rom)

You might try to do this job with fastboot

man fastboot:
usage: fastboot [ <option> ] <command>

commands:
update <filename> reflash device from update.zip
flashall flash boot + recovery + system
flash <partition> [ <filename> ] write a file to a flash partition
erase <partition> erase a flash partition
format <partition> format a flash partition
getvar <variable> display a bootloader variable
boot <kernel> [ <ramdisk> ] download and boot kernel
flash:raw boot <kernel> [ <ramdisk> ] create bootimage and flash it
devices list all connected devices
continue continue with autoboot
reboot reboot device normally
reboot-bootloader reboot device into bootloader
help show this help message

options:
-w erase userdata and cache (and format
if supported by partition type)
-u do not first erase partition before
formatting
-s <specific device> specify device serial number
or path to device port
-l with "devices", lists device paths
-p <product> specify product name
-c <cmdline> override kernel commandline
-i <vendor id> specify a custom USB vendor id
-b <base_addr> specify a custom kernel base address
-n <page size> specify the nand page size. default: 2048
-S <size>[K|M|G] automatically sparse files greater than
size. 0 to disable

fastboot is part of the android sdk

or just make a workarround and use a app from the play store to get this functionaliy
exemple:

I have a M130 ROM and an M150 ROM (almost), but not M140. I will try to get these made and posted between final exam studying.

thanks yall.. im still getting aquainted to sdk/adb tools, I run ubuntu 10.04 on all my machines and most everyone posts adb commands for windows.. just takes me a little longer to figure it out..

Ill keep watching the posts, and im gonna try out that market app (i didnt know one was out there like that haha)

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but heres my question:
What will happen if I flash a phone build:c771M140 with a M130 Rom? I use the phone only for wifi networks so will wifi still work?

You will probably will not have working wifi. The baseband has changed from m130 to m140. And hi willster. Just popping to see how things are going.

Reading through earlier threads about being m130 build. Would this work on a m100 build? I didn't make a backup of my phone and accidently erased something (I have no idea what) that now makes my phone in-operable.

depends on your definition of operable. will the phone boot to be able to launch apps? yes will the wifi/3g work? probably not.
If i were you, I would try to get in contact with nickmacaulay. He has m100, and could make a backup for you.

P.S. if you do get an M100 backup from him could you throw it my way too?

So I downloaded the blue theme with the Redpill Rom. I was wondering if there is a Bluepill Rom or a way to make more blue stuff in the Redpill. I know hence the name Redpill but I really would like a blue keyboard and blue text message icon etc...

:)

theres a "Casio Blues" ROM by monkeytools for M130, are you asking that it get updated to M150?

Sorry, should have put that info in.

Running m150 build Casio C771 commando. Rooted and put the Redpill Rom on then got a animation.zip and the super blues theme. I seen the one for blues rom for m130 but since I am running the m150 I didn't know if it would work.:)

It will not work. It needs to be updated to M150. Unfortunately, I don't think monkeytools has any plans to. I would not mind doing it, but am very busy with my Internship and getting ready for college. Depending on my schedule, I might be able to take a crack at it this weekend, but I refer you to this guide. It's not that hard, it's just time consuming. Just get the stock M150 ROM, follow the guide, and you should be all set.

A problem in how the ROM handled the battery icons was identified, and the patch has been released. You can either re-install the ROM or use the ROM Toolkit to send it to your phone.

Thanks to those who noticed it!
