Root [{(ROM)}] The Collab ROM Version 3.0.1 !/AROMA INSTALLER\!

Glad to hear you're getting over the cold, but even more excited to hear that you are once again picking up with the 3.0.3 rom. Its been a quiet weekend as far as developments for the Motion go I was wondering why it all slowed down suddenly now I know. Now if only the rest of the devs could crank out their versions we'll all be in heaven.

Can someone help? I have tried this about 10 times, but keep getting stuck in a boot loop. I do a complete wipe prior to install, and I have downloaded the rom twice. I am currently running the first edition of the collab rom, but can't get 3.0 or 3.0.1 to work.

Are you switching to external sd in recovery?

Have you tried the Boot Buddy? It worked for me, but I didn't like it. I couldn't keep me eye on the horizon and quickly got sea sick....
Hey, I was sorry to hear that you weren't happy with BootBuddy. The newest update has greater compatibility with all versions of busybox. Also, it now keeps a log file to keep you informed of any notifications or problems. Cheers

Try to format system data and cache as well

First off i would like to thank everybody for their time and effort that has been put into our phones. i have a few questions hopefully somebody can help

1. can somebody or does somebody have the 4g lte mod that changes our 4g icon to verizons? it was posted by i think gman a while back and all we needed to do was copy the modiefied systemui.apk into /system/app, but that only worked with stock becuase i lost my status bar when i tried doing it on the collab rom.

2. are we able to to still use all the tweaks from pimp my rom on the callob rom? and i always wondered, can we use every tweak? i only used ones that i am familiar with and didnt think would soft brick ha

3. does anything we put into the collab rom or any deodexed rom have to be modified and be deodexed?

4. where is the location of 99supercharger.sh? I cannot for the life of me find it

im sorry for the somewhat long post but i try not to post anything until i need too ha. I like to sit back and read and teach myself and correct my own mistakes if possible. Any help would be great, thanks ppl

I have not forgotten this...

Voice Search (the apk that came with stock ROM) should be removed if The Collab ROM is going to have Google Now pre-installed. Google Now already does the work of Voice Search so having two would be pointless unless someone can prove me otherwise :P.
When you go to System Settings> Language & Input you'll see "Google Voice Typing" twice because of this.

Also, Lg Keyboard continually force close when I did a fresh install of the ROM, wasn't this fixed??

This and all my other projects are on hold until Summer Vacation. School is more important...

Agreed 100%. Priorities are in the right order there. I like it when I see people posting about not having time to work on their projects due to family or school and such.

Good to see you focus on school. My spring break is just about over, time to stop trolling these forums & get back to my studies.

On another note; How do I remove Apex Launcher? It keeps bugging me about an update, but I use ADW EX (since I paid for it a long time ago). I searched through system apps, couldn't find it. I know it's installed as a system app though, 'cuz I can't remove it from settings>apps.

Edit: Nevermind. Just used ROM Toolbox to remove it. I was trying to do it manually before.
