Root [ROM] The Second Wave... | Droid Incredible

Is anyone else having problems with Market installing apps? I show several apps that need to be updated then I hit update and they download seemingly fine but they won't install. Is this a bug that needs a fix or is it me?
 
yea that happens sometimes... i stop them all and start over and do them one by one but sometimes they wont update

i haven't had any trouble with the market. All apps install fine for me.
 
Can I take your ringtones patch and use it with the leaked 2.2 update I have installed now? Cause that removed all stock ringtones as well
 
Should I use this, or FrankenRom? I'm sorta of sick of SkyRaider 2.2. Not sure why, but it just doesn't handle battery right, and has an occasional slow-down.

I'm loving this ROM , haven't had an stability issues and it's blazing fast. Pretty much this phone works as if it came from stock this way.
 
I remember reading somewhere that you moved the bootanimation.zip from data/local... can't find where I read it... just bored and feel like changeing my boot animation but can't get it to work in data/local

searched it in root explorer... system/customize/resource and renamed as VZW_bootanimation.zip works now
 
this might help someone who doesn't have the unrevoked:forever... I figured it out via root explorer and it let me write to system no problem... thanks

This is per boot only, and must be run within normal mode.

Hey adrynalyne, i love your work and i cam currently using this rom and have never been happier. i only have one concern though... When i try to use the 3g mobile hotspot, i keep getting a foceclose, and all that it says is com.htc.wifirouter, i have downloaded the file in your OP and still get a forceclose... any idea as to whats causing it?

Ok i did what you said, still getting a forceclose. it says "the application 3G mobile hotspot (process com.htc.wifirouter) has stopped unexpectedly.

ill try installing and reinstalling again. :/
 
Boot into clockwork, mount the system partition.

Via adb on your computer, try this:

adb shell
chmod 755 /system/app/WifiRouter.apk
exit

Unmount system via clock work.

adb reboot
