Root [ROM/Theme] New Dev on the scene.

Okay, screw college talk here. I'm gonna be blunt.
I have been into jailbreaking since the GBA SP and lets face it, root is essentially the same process.
Now that my introduction is out of the way...

The Attain has SO much potential, and I'm going to take a step forward while I'm not at the factory and spend some time in the "kitchen".

I'll photoshop a few pics to show you guys what I'm aiming for.

As of right now, you have something to look forward to.

I'm currently talking over the game plan and features with an outside source who is my right hand man on this project. Frankly, because SWIM is more experienced.

Bear with me, I'm relatively new to Droid but I'm a tech junkie so there is determination. Plus, like me, whomever reading is probably sick the same old stuff. Lol.
 
Anybody got a quick fix for my lte baseband issue? CDMA is still there.I'm on stock browser with fairly good 3g speeds. It's JUST the 4g.

Don't know what caused it and Astro doesn't say theres anything in my efs folder...

Did you flash the rooted update .tar?
 
Coming along with speedbumps...
Sorry, no custom binaries/kernals right now. - How do you reset binary count without a jig?mine doesnt work with the update.
Theme still under construction, trying to be original

Well don't worry about the triangle yet until you get to the custom kernels.
Btw what kind of a rom are you making? :D

So far here is the layout, which isn't final:

- 3D icons, similar to ICS but tweaked and made original. (not true 3D since the screen isn't stereoscopic)
- No bloatware
- New lockscreen

Like I said, I'm new to developing so I'm not 100% sure these work together but heres a couple things I'd like to try to add in together after I get permission to use these:

- Deodexed, hopefully if I can't figure this out myself someone will let me use what they've already done in my own rom w/ credits, respectfully.
- V6 supercharger w/o 3G tweak (w/ original credits)

(Will add a credits .apk into the homescreen and make it a system file so you can't delete it as well as add credits into the new post with the changelog when I decide on a name.)

But there is one really BIG problem for a day or two,
I'm out of a healthy chunk of cash due to a recent dental surgery and my screen broke. I've got insurance on it so I'm just waiting for pay day so I can pay my $100 deductible and get a new phone. (My 4G problem was a bad sim card entirely so this is in a way a godsend. Found that out when I told you it was fixed, then the next day it didn't - even after repeating what I did in the first place to fix it.)

In the future I'd like to add kernel swap support, and be able to use Swapper apps to add more RAM. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening soon.

Now as for V6 Supercharger, I have the file that you're looking for which I'll upload in a bit. For deodexing, there is always google which is actually not too difficult to pull off. You should release all of that once you're done and afterwards add more too it :p

Brand new, remanufactured in USA.

That means the circuitry is only 1000x better than the brand new ones from China. Lol.

Still can't get rid of the whole binary counter problem w/ bootloop though. =\
 
I have no choice but to dump my rom as is once I get back to my computer. You guys can work the bugs out if possible. My icons need resizing, too. Im sorry I wasnt able to finish. Came close, but I dont wanna spend 100 dollars on another phone. (I spent $50)

I will try to port this to the Motion 4G and Admire 4G, as thats the phones me and my ol lady have now.

Also! I MAY pick this back up b/c a friend of mine has the Attain 4G, I just gotta talk him into voiding his warranty. Never did fix the binary count issue but phone stays stable and works fine.

I'm patiently waiting for this LG spirit 4G or whatever its called.. Because unless we get ics or better soon this spirit is gonna drop and for 200 bucks it'll be a better phone and this forum will probably die out like the attain side. That place is a desert over there...

The motion is $50 ATM. ICS stock and a jb AoKp ROM that's 90% good (no 4g or outgoing messages but 3g works fine and SMS received).

If you don't wanna wait. Even has working recovery despite locked boot loader t(-.-t) f u lg

It's actually $100 since you only get money back after you buy it at that price.
