Root [ROM] Uber ROM "Desire Z"

Yea I'm gonna switch over some time today or tomorrow. I don't even mind setting stuff up again. The camcorder fix is big time, and I'm glad someone picked up where IncDoes left off because the Desire Z ROM is just amazing.
 
With the google back up thing there is very little to redo. I love desire z for that.

it restores apps. but not data
 
Nice! I'm looking forward to installing this sometime tomorrow. I just installed incdoes desire z but I keep getting force closes in the gallery app.
 
Tried it out and my Sirius XM app doesn't work on it over 3g for some reason. No clue why. Yet I have no issues with Nils Business Sense.
 
Loving it so far. What kernels are people using with it? The new release uses Ziggy's. Anyone have great battery life with others?
 
try usings Lou's #4 or #6 they're the same except 6 gives you multitouch they aren't overclocked but run smooth as can be for me!
 
The stock kernel is working great on RC 2.0.1. Anyone not trying this ROM is missing out. The rotating Rosie home screen alone is a cool little feature.
 
This is really a feature rich ROM that runs very well for how large and feature filled it is. The dev is great. Lou's kernels are excellent, but on this ROM they lag for me and are choppy.

Ziggy's Jan 11th Inc CFS kernel (the one that comes stock with Uber 2.0.1) has been the best performer, but sacrifices some battery life. Doable though.

Anyone wanting to try HTC's latest iteration of Sense on a very reliable and stable "Z" ROM flavor this is a great candidate
