Could someone please give a more comprehensive listing of exactly which lines need to be deleted from the updater-script file? A screenshot would probably be most helpful. I've tried the top "couple" and top "few" - anything mentioning "X5" - but still can't get this ROM to flash. I haven't spent much time being balls-deep in the Android file system, so I'm kinda lost here. I'm on rooted V4, using the non-touch CWM recovery, if that info makes any difference.
Can't wait to have a CM ROM on this phone. I was super disappointed when I got the Volt a couple of weeks ago, only to find that there was almost no development being done with it. Seems you guys have gotten pretty far in a short time. Thanks for all the effort.

If you just replace your cwm with twrp you dont have to edit anything! I used the LAF recovery tool to install both recoveries and it is so easy . The download for the laf recovery tool is in the cwm thread. All you have to do is download the twrp img file and replace the cwn one in the laf recovery tool folder rename it recovery.img and it will flash without any issues.

Ideally, I like to have a fully functional recovery on my phone at all times. However, lacking a detailed description of what needs to be taken out of updater-script, I guess I may have to go that route. Really hoping that the bugs get worked out of PhilZ recovery before too long. That's been my go-to recovery for my Atrix HD. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Hi! Thank you guys so much for making this ROM, it's awesome but I have a problem. I can't get my LED to turn off, it constantly does the rainbow animation it normally does when it boots up. Even with the screen on/off.

Everyone has this issue. Give the devs some time they will fix it as soon as they figure it out. Do like i did and put some tape over it and try to find it yourself to help out. If i find it before anyone else i will post it here!

I'm gonna look into disabling the ring led in a few, just to warn you guys it might also take out button backlights and screen backlight configs. I hope not, but I'll know soon
edit: we need to now look into getting ril fixed, i had it fixed before like 10 releases ago i just cant remember all what libs i used to do it.

I really wanted to make this my daily driver but the lack of signal is keeping me from using this ROM
im working on it, just finishing uploading a new build right now, got the ring led to stop flashing for now with no other adverse effects

Thanks for fixing the strobing lol. You guys are awesome. I am trying but I really have no idea where to start. Data works for me just not 4g. I cannot get 4g most of the time anyways so not a biggie. Great job on this ROM

Are you able to charge your phone with this new beta @whoshotjr2006? For some reason when i flash and run either cyanogenmod 11 version on the forums right now, I can't charge mine no matter what i do so I have to keep flashing my backup right before my phone goes dead

Yeah I can charge just fine, hate to say it but you may have a defective volt it sounds like. Take a good backup and run the restore tool back to zv3 and root/recovery/flash your backup and see what happens.
And Corey fields, yeah gonna try to get double tap to wake working. It already works to put it to sleep.

Ok, I'll try that tonight. I can charge it just fine with the trimmed x5 ROM I'm running now but starting over may be my only option. The weird thing was charging worked for me up until the last 2 alphas i flashed, bad mofo's and then yours. I love the ROM and i appreciate your feedback so quick. Keep up the good work man.

Flashed this rom, trying to go back to Stockwalk but I'm stuck in an endless bootloop no matter how many times I flash it. If I reflash a CM rom it boots and works as is. Has anyone encountered this problem?
Not working: Bluetooth makes music very low. Slows it down as well.
Snapchat can't record.
No 4G, no MMS, no edible APNs.

be sure to wipe before flashing, sounds like you may be trying to dirty flash

Not at all. Cleared Data/Cache dalvik cache... everything. I'm currently doing some testing to see if I can fix it. Just throwing it out there for the community.
