I love it except i cant get the wireless tethering to work on my windows 7 laptop or on my ps3. Someone please help by either posting settings of the app that should be checked or something.

I had to go back to older drivers on my W7 laptop to get it to work. With the latest and greatest drivers, it would not work at all. As soon as I found some 1 year old drivers, no problem. I don't own a PS3, but I'm going to guess that it won't do Ad-hoc, which is how tethering works. My PSP won't connect no matter what as it's the same deal.
 
Would you have any ideas if i cant find an older driver? I was already using the one that came with the operating system.
 
Go to Start> Right click on Computer> Device Manager> Network Adapters. Click on your wifi adapter listed there. Tell me what it says.
 
Its a realtek 11bgn wireless lan mini-pci express adapter 2. And i ended up finding a driver dated 1/19/2010 and installed it just fine but it still says it wont connect.
 
I tried the driver they gave on that site for my wireless adapter and it connected but still no network or internet access.
 
OK i've tried everything.. No matter what i do my wallpaper keeps going back to the default wallpaper at random... i've cleared cache, restored to factory settings, everything i can think of but after using for a little while the wallpaper goes back to the default wallpaper... can't figure out why, any help would be greatly appreciated... great rom otherwise!
 
After restoring factory settings etc. i can't OC as well, get error in terminal emulator "/data/velocity/cpu directory not found! script cannot be set at boot!" somebody help me please : )
 
ok so im trying to flash Velocity o.4 on my phone but it keeps saying "e:cant open sdcard/ velocity 0.4. release. zip (bad)"
 
I installed the kernel and radio after i installed the rom, and neither one of them are updated.
any idea what am i doing wrong?

Ok first off I wanna say that I love this rom. Best one I've seen. Runs smoothly and I've never had a problem with anything to do with the rom or flashing it. Did it successfully twice on my phone and once on my wifes.

One thing that I am having difficulties with is that I'm trying to flash a new boot animation and none seem to work. I've tried flashing in recorery I've tried:
Cp sdcard/bootanimation.zip data/local/bootanimation.zip

Any ideas. And how do you make a custom animation.

i am running v.4 and love it... Great work by the way!! I have read all the posts regarding the update to 2.2.1 and just don't see where it is worth the hassle.. With the dl. Problems and rooting and app troubles.. I think i'll wait for your v.5... Will it include the jump to 2.2.1???? Or will i still have to go thru the update anyway???
