First root ur phone & u need to download JELLYBLASTV3.signed.zip.that is the rom file.but it has performance issue.to increase performance & features u need to download all OTA updates.that is OTA1,2,3,4...:) ROOT ur phone is a MUST process b4 the installation.watch the video tutorial included for correct installation of JB.also cwm is necessary to flash this rom..use the CWM that i provided :smokingsomb:

U can flash ur CSC only-with Odin.After that tipe in diler *#272* (ur IMEI)# then choose ur country cod nd click install

Reflash the OTA 4.if still the problem Flash the CSC file via ODIN..make sure to flash that file only...:D

dude...im totally newbie here and i really lack in knowledge and also the confident to install the jelly blast but i really want to
i already root my phone..
now i understand the steps but not that flash..and CWM thingy
i just wanna ask how to install?..CWM
i found this steps
Go to stock recovery and flash this : GT-S5360_CWM.zip or this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/58284539/CWM_bla_bla.zip
Now you are in CWM mode. Now, in this mode, install the zip file you want...
Repeat this process every time you want to flash a file in cwm.

HOW TO GO TO STOCK RECOVERY:

Switch off your phone. Now press Power button + Home button + Volume Up button until you see the Galaxy Y logo.
Next, choose update zip from SD card and choose the CWM zip file you have downloaded above and kept in your SD card ( not in any folder).
Choose the GTS5360-cwm.zip.
Now you are in CWM mode.

pls do tell me how to cwm my galaxy Y in a way that i could easily understand thx :)
 
btw guys i think i get it already im trying it out now :)

and does this jelly blast got quick office? i can download an app that can view document file anyway right?
 
hehehe another question guys does this jelly blast includes a flash player? i mean i want to have a flash player that works on my stock web browser
 
guys as of know my galaxy Y is now rooted and got CWM
now i think im close to installing jellyblast but my problem now is that i update my kernel now how do i go back to stock kernel? i dont want to open the jellblst file coz its risky what if i delete the wrong file....
i watched a vid from youtube on how to go back to stock kernel but i dont know how to use that odin and i dont have a download link for it pls do provide and instruct me what to do guys......thx in advance
 
need help urgently :(
i follow the steps in theyoutube vid but i got an error that says cache recovery log cannot open? i think it was like that or at least close to that
then i still proceed in installing it now my phone is always in starting mode i mean the S thing when you turn in ON

i already find out how to go back to stock kernel and it works and i rooted it again then put CWM then install the jelly blast but its now it is the blinking starting thingy its not turning ON pls help me thx

what to do? as of now i install the upddate.zip in order to use my phone on stock rom but still it didnt work :( its still broke tsk tsk
 
ahhmmm guys it already works! i got jell blast v3 now and its awesome i just boot from recovery mode then reset data the reser cache but it still got the error E: cant open /cache/recovery/last_log but i still continue it the i click flash the update file again then reboot and it works now my question is how would i enjoy it to the fullest? it really got the laggy thing but still it works fine and i read the other post that OTA needs to be download but when i go to OTA updater it says error it downloading how would i download OTA?
and pls explain the flash thingy again coz sum resources said to flash OTA first and i dont know how

I have successfuly install JELLYBLASTV3.signed on my samsung galaxy y.After upgrade to JBV3OTA1.signed,JBV3OTA2.signed,JBV3OTA3.signed,JBV3OTA4.1.signed I have lost most beautifull creed wallparers which are came with JELLYBLASTV3.signed.Can someone help me how to get back those creed wallpapers.Thanks in advance.

well dude forget my problem lol i already solved it...you cant really rely on this forum if your in a rush well i found out how to fix it here's how
first download every OTA zip then put it in your sdcard/OTAupdater/Downloads its in you SD card if you already install jellblast v3 here's the link
OTA v1: JBV3OTA1.signed.zip
OTA v2: JBV3OTA2.signed.zip
OTA v3: JBV3OTA3.signed.zip
OTA v4: JBV3OTA4.1.signed.zip

save all that in sd card under OTAupdater then under Downloads
then turn off phone then go to recovery mode(switch key+vol. up+home key) then go to apply update from sd card then choose CWM if you dont know search it, then after you go to CWM go to install zip from sd then under that go to choose zip from sd card then choose OTA-updater then it open a file again which is download/ then first flash/choose the 1st OTA v1 it should be name JBV30TA1.signed.zip flash it then it install then press back key then choose reboot system now.
i suggest you flash the all OTA in order. its easy coz ul jaz repeat all those steps.

Read all ur steps.but make sure that there are many CWM for galaxy y.but few are not suitable..thatz y u got error in mounting system.
E: cant open /cache/recovery/last_log

make sure to use the CWM that i provided on the downloading section.its is the best cwm for galaxy y

hmmm i forgot where i got my CWM sir but now my galaxyY is working although it got that error so is it necessary for me to still fix it? will i get an error in future for not fixing it?

Thanks 4 the compliment..:D but soon gonna leave SGY section:( Also CWM is important.coz data wipe is the essential part for wiping all the unwanted & corrupted files.with out clearing it may cause failure in working of device..:smokingsomb:

anyways im gonna download the cwm link that you give and try to use it instead of the other one i got from xda developers ...and why will you leave SGY section sir?
baaahh maybe i know the answer already...coz its cheap aight? lol..anyway good luck sir

my sgy in jbv3 cant change lock screen wallpaper if i change it in the settings the home screen will the one that will be change and so is home wallpaper its the problem i encounter in my first installing jbv3 then when i reformat my phone then change cwm then flash the 4 ota in order i got this problem now

the blue one i got that when i first download jbv3 now when i reformat my phone and ofc flash all the ota it was gone and all i have for my lock screen is jaz drag the picture not swipe and that lock image thingy..and that red boxed image i really dont have it since plss do help me thx

Now just bought a Galaxy s3 & Galaxy S :smokingsomb:..so no need of SGY.but heard a gud news in CYANOGENMOD section.if the news is true then will stay with SGY also :D
