I agree with everybody--this is one of the worst androids ever. I got it for $50 from VM because I'm old, broke and cheap. I needed a new phone. If this ROM is any indication, Samsung needs some software engineers. I have never experienced anything so bloated, slow and unresponsive.
I finally got it rooted and flashed the Mirage kernel, but still experience *constant* reboots and CTDs. And memory notices... I partitioned and installed Link2SD and now that problem is somewhat better. But I'm going to have to install a Rom that is more sleek to stop the reboots. Every time I push the power button to get to the home screen, I get a black screen--SAMSUNG, and the bootloop begins. I have to either pull the battery (which, unbelievably, does not always work), or boot to CWM and then reboot again from there.
I sent Samsung a particularly venomous email, explaining that unless I could successfully root and install another OS, I would be sending the phone to them to cherish as a keepsake. What turds....

Hmm this has not been my experience with this phone... This seems to be something hardware related and a few others have had similar problems whereas for me its pretty stable (other than a few reboots here and there, which don't happen often) makes me wonder what the difference is between the reverbs that work well and the ones that don't

I had no problems with this but be careful deleting stock apps...i couldnt get it to load after I deleted some things in root uninstaller. (I think deleting google search is what did it.I wanted the widget off my homr screen.) but after restoring my stock backup in cwm recovery, I'll be trying it again. Thanks to the developer.
