Root Rom with the 2.3.6 phone.apk but still ICS themed

I don't know a lot about theming or making roms, but I was wondering if there was a way to have a rom with the ics look, the P.U.T.U. Rom 2.2, with the new 2.3.6 rom posted phone.apk. I really liked how you could press to end the call, but was not a fan of the status bar.

Sounds nice ....but the press to end call from the status bar sounds like its gonna be sorta hard to do
