Root Rom with working Wi Tether

Can anyone recommend a Rom which works with Wifi Tether? Either GB or ICS. Thanks.

check out ICS roms on xda. some include a working app,and directions in the original post on how to set it. (cant give much info,as a guide im not sposed to discuss or encourage such things )

if that doesnth help,hopefully someone else may have some specifics for you

These links may help. But I would be careful, supposedly Verizon and other carriers have caught on to wifi tethering and may block it. They want you to pay $20 extra per month to do it their way.

Thanks, got it up and running now. I thought with verizons new plans tethering was free now, but I might be wrong.

That is correct -- the new sharing plan includes hotspot usage for any device that supports it at no extra cost. I was in the store this weekend and that was one of the "selling points" to attempt to get me to switch. I didn't take the bait thanks in part to root.
