ROMs?

Hi all,

I know we still don't have an unlocked bootloader, but is any developer working on a ROM or planning to work on a ROM for the TP? Or has anyone heard of one doing so?

I would guess ViperBoy will be working on something, unfortunately without recovery, any type of firmware modification at this point would be pretty risky..

The Asus bootloader unlock is supposed to be out in Feb, so I would imagine we should see something shortly after. I'm really not sure what all is going to be possible, but I'd love a custom kernel, and a revamped launcher myself.

Also, since ICS is pretty much eliminating the fragmentation of Android, maybe, just maybe, a CM9 variant? :)

I'd bet on those above as well :P

Trust me, once we have a bootloader.... more then likely, everything that is available for the original transformer will be ported and adapted to be used with the Tegra3. There will be more roms to play with then we can imagine. I personally can't wait for the dual boot into ubuntu. Thats going to be marvelous.
