Root Roms

Hi,

I'm back again after useless HTC repair 4 times sent in, then they claimed water damage, I bought the tools to get into the phone and repaired myself which was just a bit of glue on the optical track ball connector. Anyway...

Anyway I've rooted using revolutionary, partitioned using gparted to ext4 and I'm now trying various roms... Great fun!

However I'm a bit concerned I keep going back to lee droid hd 3.3.3, I just really like the way it's set up :-)

I've tried quite a few now. What I really like about lee droid is the apps are in the drop down notification bar, I like the battery percentage, the battery life seems really good. I tried mildwild ver 3.0 really impressed but I like the access to the phone using the middle key.

I guess my real question is can I install a newer version like mildwild and customize the home screen?
Also perhaps I should give these roms more days before I revert back to my favourite.

Thanks again

Rich

3rd party launchers are where its at. Personally I recommend trying go launcher. It's daunting at first but well worth the learning curve

Thanks Suroot, downloaded and having a play about with it.

See what you mean looks like the opportunities are endless even down to the lock screen!

This is so much fun but not sure my wife is happy with me messing around with my phone all day

Cheers

Rich
