Which rom will make my battery the greatest? I dont care about speed pr anything. I leave the phone on stand by and it drains 10-20 percent every hr. I have tried ld's 2.5.4 and no use. Should i try flashing kanaida's kernal on top of ld's rom?
 
To be honest the rom that's got the best battery life I I've used is the lunar ui Rom I work twelve hour work shifts and it lasts all day on a stock battery:D
 
The LG Esteem itself is never really that great on battery life
what I'd do is get a lightweight ROM like #2 and underclock it
 
Do you turn off your 4G? If so and it still drains like that, I would reflash #2. I'm on #2 2.4 and get excellent battery. Perhaps you had a glitch when flashing. Or maybe your actual battery needs replacing.
 
@Boricuakiller, Hey I have never tried that one. Ill give it a try and I'll let you know the results.

@Twane, Lunar? I've never heard of that one. Is it better than LD's 2.5.4?

@Stitan, I have 2.5.4 and the battery life is terrible. I had 2.4 and the battery was great. Ill try and look for the 2.4.

@Dude45, I used SetCPU and I underclock it and it comes back.

@skrapmetal, I turn off the wifi bluetooth location everything. I even dimmed the light very low.

This is true. On stock the esteem is rated to last on an average of 3hrs talk time .
 
I also want to know which rom is good for battery but i want good performance as well. I have the #2 rom v2.5. i keep seeing posts about going to #2 1. something or 2.4. I really dont know what the difference is about them. I thought the lastest would be the good one. I'm not even sure I have the cureent rom. can somebody help!!!!!
