Root romtoolbox by jrummy for rise?

I recently bought a Kyocera rise for virgin after having an optimus q(arearomq 2.1 with custom kernel to overclock. it was soooooo sweet. huge thanks to androidarea51) for well over a year. i have it rooted(using the pc-less version) and I am a little disappointed in the lack of custom options available for it, but when life hands me lemons, I make beef stew. that being said, has anyone tried messing around with romtool box on the rise yet? i'd just like to know because i'm not a dev, and I don't want to end up with problems like with beats audio that I can't fix. any and all help would be much appreciated.

nvm I went back to the root guide to show my girlfriend and continued reading, to find that the author had recommend downloading it, and using it. mods, feel free to delete this thread, as I am fairly new to forums, and i'm also kind of lazy. :D

I have used romtoolbox quite a bit for the Rise. I must admit it is an excellent app. Just always make a back up before you are unsure about making some changes. There is always potential to brick the device.

DO NOT try to change the fonts. thats how mine got bricked

EDIT: I see this post is a bit old... how are things working out?

well nothing has been posted for a while. i think many ppl gave up on this device and kyocera doesnt see that. they are like apple and their closed sourcedness. so nothing has been done on this device.
