please help me.....

i'm stuck in "flashing to 1.6 firmware"....the flash tool just displays "searching for xperia...." and does nothing...it seems the tool cannot detect my phone....what shall i do?

I did it! It all worked out in the end! I had some problem with jar on gui, but when I opened batch file everything worked fine. And also had some problems with app2SD, had to reflash mobile, but after repeating process all worked fine!
I'm so happy now!
Thax for all the help and tutorials!

whew! it finally worked! i tried with 2 windows xp coomputers, and it didnt work. but when i tried in a vista computer, it worked!

and since i'm really new to these things, i opened three tutorials: rooting the least complex way, rooting the easy way and the step-by-step tutorial @ xda!
