Root Root after ota

Can I root my DNA after the last ota? If so can I get step by step instructions. I have always rooted my phones but this one is a little more complex and I don't want to mess it up.

were you rooted before? if so,you can reflash recovery and reflash superuser. if not,you are stuck,as you need superCID to unlock the bootloader, and there is not a means of superCID for the new OTA.

until a method of supercid emerges, your only option for root is to send it in for jtag s off.

There's a donation pool gathering over at XDA to get some developers working on it...it's pretty frustrating not being able to root.

even if new temp root is found, there needs to be a way to superCID. you can thank verizon for keeping their devices of the official support list  its possible write protection could make superCIDing difficult to impossible with normal software means.

hopefully they will figure something out. :)

I thought HTC wasn't locking bootloaders anymore. Does that only apply to units sold directly from HTC?
