Root Root and OTA Updates

If someone else would like to help to get the B09 stock recovery, I made a flashable zip that should do all the work for you.

quantum_supreme_B09_recovery_updater.zip

Flash it in cwm...it will flash stock B06 recovery, patch it to B09, copy it to your sdcard, and flash cwm back to the device. Once it is finished, boot back into cwm to make sure you are back where you started, then upload the B09_recovery.img it created on your sdcard. Thanks

I have not tested this but it should work. Use at your own risk.

Tried to flash in CWM but get error (Status 6)

Eventually updated by gayest way... My phone facing a weird problem, I cannot see stock recovery and boot animation. It load up in black display with flickering lines..
but after phone loads up, one time screen lock unlock makes it fine. even CWM looks fine in recovery.
I did blind way update by sideloading it through ADB LOL
now on 9810v1.0.0B09

What amazes me most about the update is that they took out the boot sound when your phone is set to silent (thank you) and that they fixed a lot of the problems with streaming videos such as off of google play (not perfect though). They also allow you to completely silence the shutter sound without mods. If the phone is on silent or vibrate, the camera won't sound. This is a fantastic update. Now if only they would give us kit kat...

Edit: Finding more stuff in the new update

They also fixed the issue with which direction your facing. On the old software, when I faced north, It would register me as facing slightly sideways. Compass apps and google maps now works correctly.

Problems with mobile ID were fixed.... psssshhhhhh who cares. Deleted it right away.

The home button officially responds easier too. Nice since I was kinda annoyed with this

A few of you in this thread have mentioned that you've successfully rooted the VM Supreme? I've been looking around the web for a method to do so for quite some time, to no avail. Can you guys help me out with a 100% known to work method to root it?

Thanks,

Mason
