Just like the title says! What root only apps do you have / recommend?

Just rooted last night and couldn't be happier with my Bionic!

Here's the ones I have so far:

Bionic Recovery Bootstrap ($2.99) - Bought it to make a nandroid backup in case I mess anything up / for loading roms in the future
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.koushikdutta.bionic.bootstrap&feature=search_result

Titanium Backup Pro ($6.58) - Bought it to freeze bloatware
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackupPro&feature=search_result

AdFree Android (Free) - Get rid of those annoying ads
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bigtincan.android.adfree&feature=search_result

Keyboard Manager (Free) - Let's you select a specific default/automatic keyboard for the portrait and landscape orientations so you don't have to change them manually when rotating between orientations.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ne0fhykLabs.android.utility.kmLauncher

Android Wifi Tether (Free) - Self explanatory, possibly risky, hope Verizon isn;t watching
Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting

Sixaxis Controller ($1.76) - Pretty cool little app that lets you pair your Bionic to your PS3 controller so you can use the PS3 controller when playing emulators on the Bionic. HDMI mirroring mode to TV + PS3 controller paird to Bionic = Win. Just like having a nintendo hooked up.

LBE Privacy Guard
(Free) - Lets you set / restrict app permissions among other things
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.lbe.security.lite&feature=search_result

Droidsheep (Free) - No, I'm never gonna use it maliciously. Just got it to mess with my friends. Tested it on my home wireless network and it works scarily well. Hopefully the more people that hear about it, the more who will take public WiFi security (or lack thereof) more seriously. Knowing is half the battle.

Lol - you forgot the most important one - Superuser! :p

Superuser - Market Link (I have the Elite version - Market Link)

I also have the following:

I have these 2 but they don't do anything right now.

I had this one but it is not necessary on this phone.

Cool, I'll have to check those out.

I didn't even think of Superuser b/c I rooted via the R3L3AS3DRoot and 43V3R root method and Superuser Elite installs automatically / is part of that rooting procedure. I'll have to buy it via the market to donate / support the devs.

Could you possibly try your WiFi Tether on your Wii and tell me the results. If you dont have a Wii.... Maybe your friends Wii....

Pretty please with sugar on top. :D Thanks Bro.

Any recommendations for a root task manager / killer app?

With as much space as we have for running apps coupled with the fact that GB is much more aggressive at memory management for apps that require a lot of memory, I don't even bother with any sort of task manager at all.

On my DROID I kept one around simply for the sake of FCing apps that were stuck, but once I started using GB-based ROMs on that phone I found that having a TM was completely unnecessary.

Still, for posterity's sake, though, I have ATM installed - I don't use it but it is there just in case I need it.

I'd be happy to, but I don't have a Wii and surprisingly don't know anyone that does. All my friends have either PS3 or XBOX360. I did just try it with my PS3 and can confirm that it connects fine.

Anything that can recognize / connect to a wireless router should also be able to connect to your Droid using the wireless tether app.

I thought that Android WiFi Tether didn't work on the Bionic. That is why there are guides online on how to use SQLite to modify a file to make the built in WiFi Hotspot app work. SQLite in this case is a necessary root app. Root Explorer for Forever Root among many other uses.

I did absolutely nothing besides install the latest version of the Android WiFi Tether app in that link (none of the SQLite stuff) and my tether works fine.
