Root Root Aquired for Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

Followed the instructions and now successfully running my rooted Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

I had a issue doing it from my Windows 7 Desktop. Kept getting libusb errors in hemidall, even though adb was connecting and able to reboot. So I downloaded platform tools and adb and hemidall for OSX on my MacBook Air and it worked fine.

Instructions for ADB:
1. Download ADB for your System from here Android SDK | Android Developers
2. For Windows: Run Platform Manager application in the zip and have it download the tools for 4.0.3. For MacOSX or Unix, run the file "android" in the Tools folder and do the same.
3. Go to Console/CommandPrompt and cd to the platform-tools directory.
4. In platform tools for Windows type "adb devices", for OSX and Unix type "./adb devices"
5. Follow on screen instructions from the original post. For MacOSX and Unix make sure to add ./ infront of any command line prompts.

Forgot to add that ADB / Development mode has to be turned on in Settings > Development for this to work.

will there be a one click root apk?.. i tried setting up an environment for android before and i can never get it to run.. ill wait if i need to,i just want to be able to use app2sd.

Where did you get the usb drivers for the Galaxy Tab 2? ADB won't recognize device without driver.

havent tried yet but [Drivers] MS Windows x86 and x64 USB Drivers for Samsung Galaxy S - xda-developers

i istalled the kies app than uninstalled it but left the drivers

Yes. However the method they explain is not out of date. For the method they have posted now to install CWM you must have Windows and use Odin.

How many people tested this root and any idea when they will put out a mod to remove bloadwear... I'm getting little ram than what i should get.
