yes and no, Software root isnt available yet, but if you have an XTC clip, you can get s-off through the hardware.
also, this thread should probably be in the All Things Root forum

An XTC clip manually switches the S-Off "button" and is more dangerous than software root. ask around to see if someone near you has one if yould like to use it
S= security flag. on HTC phones, the security flag doesnt allow root to be possible, so when you turn it off, you can root your phone.
