Root Root, connectivity issues post-Revolutionary

After reading up on things, decided to jump off the deep end and give revolutionary a go. Everything seemed to go smoothly from the pre-work to revolutionary to cwm to su. However, on the final reboot, root check confirmed that I failed to get root. Tried reflashing su several times with no success. I tried redownloading su, but came across a new problem - my computer no longer sees my phone. The phone essentially acts as if it is plugged into the wall. It will charge, but nothing more. No communication is made with the computer. I tried changing the default connection mode from charge only to disk drive, but no success.

I figure I can get a card reader to get around the su issue. However, I fail to see how what happened would suddenly disable my ability for my phone to communicate with the computer. What's the next step there?

I want to delete this out of embarrassment, but I'll leave it should anyone else come across the issue. It must have been just a simple driver issue. Restarted the computer and everything worked again. Got a good su on there and my T'bolt is rooted and happy!
