very very false, if your are rooted for the purpose of tethering to share your 4g connection and they see abuse on the network then yes but just being rooted no not at all...

Any progress in that update markolo25? Had to ask since the thread has been dead for 20days.....and I'm still to lazy to terminal the rest of the crapware that I don't want/need;)

Phone has ran fine since I did what i stated above...thanks again.

I need a list of bloatware needed to remove still, and CWM will be updated, next realease ^_^, also an unroot/uncwm option will be operational soon

will the CWM in the rom manager app mess anything up? just asking, im quite lazy and i would rather open an app and select one thing rather than plug the phone up and "re-root" just to take off bloatware and add CWM when i could possibly do it a faster way. hahaha. does that make any sense?

Just want to say -- this worked slicker than snot.

Reviewing the capabilities of ClockWorkMod, I'm wondering, is there any reason (technical, stealth, performance or anything) to select Tether over PDANet?

Given that I've already paid for PDANet, anyway.

I downloaded everything and connected my phone with debugging but everytime i try and root, it says something along the lines that it cannot find the path.:(
I probably skipped a step on accident. It would be greatly apreciated if someone could give me a detailed step by step account on rooting this phone.

Please help!
Thanks

Hi everyone, i have been reading this thread and have a question. Anyone know if the cwm has been updated after the op. Someone said that the new cwm from Rom manager works flawless and I'm wondering if the newest one is included in this tool?

As far as i know, yes.

I used this to get root+cwmTouch and it worked flawlessly on my hp pavilion laptop w/pentium!!! And winxp.... on that note... if it doesnt work you did something wrong.

hi guys, i just root and installed cmw, also i entered it using quickboot but i wonder if there's any way of entering cmw before booting the O.S like pressing some buttons or something like that so i can remove apps whithout fear of boot problems. Thanks a lot for your work! keep it up :)

Another question, if i install the cwm from the rom manager after installed this cwm will it be ok?
The rom manager didnt reconize where i have installed the cwm so i assume that it will install it in a different path so it could make problems. Thank you again!
