Believe it or not, all the methods to gain root access failed for me... sad day after having to completely wipe the A200... opppss... lol
But I had to share this....

I found it searching through XDA for A500 root... IT WORKED... all u need is USB Debugging on and either Windows or Linux.
Just to be safe, DO NOT SET "Don't Reboot"... Allow the device to re-boot afterwards... I have not tried not re-booting but like I said, just to be safe...
