Root Root explorer closes while trying to open data

I am running mikg 2.58 and root explorer has been closing all of a sudden when I try to open the data folder. Has anybody else run into this? Any ideas how to fix this?

try and clear data in the manage apps in settings for the app. if that does not work then try wiping dalvik cache and cache.

try and uninstall root explorer and then re-install it.

what recovery are you on? if you have amon ra, you can go into advanced and select fix uid mismatches or in clockwork mod under advanced select fix permissions. if that does not work then try and wipe only dalvik cache and cache and re-flash the rom.
