Root root explorer not yet obtain root access

I was trying to update my X8 from 2.1 to 2.2 by reading these thread

which lead me to other thread in order to install Xrecovery first

I stuck at STEP 5 in the second thread (above)

when i trying open root explorer i got this message

"restart app"

"Root explorer has not yet managed to obtain root accsess because of issuses with superuser,this often happensthe first time the app is run but usually fine from the on Click ok and restart the app to try again make sure you respoding superuser promt"

when i trying again i got same message please help me! i have superuser and busybox my phone is rooted.

Is there a problem with my superuser

I've already root my x8 twice using SuperOneClickv1.9.1-ShortFuse

If you open the Superuser app - is there anything denied in there?

Also, give ES File Explorer a try - its what I use for root browsing. In the settings, scroll to the bottom and check off root access and see if SU asks for access to it.
