Root root for 2.3.6

Anybody know of a method to root the 2.3.6 version of the transform ultra without backing down to 2.3.4 first? Or of a video with how to back it down? I'm using boost and tried reading the tutorial but I'm not as savy as indepth or the other guys so I just get confused and lost

Yeah thats a simple way to do that but he will need cwm. I believe you should do the following slipknot...

copy the rom posted in the link sr17091 provided to your sdcard into /sdcard/clockworkmods/backup/.

Download this file onto your computer provided by Bads3ctor tu_CWM_recovery - Minus Props go to him.

Follow the instructions to flash CWM onto your phone from this post. http://androidforums.com/transform-...ing-return-stock-samsung-transform-ultra.html

Flash the stock rom you downloaded before with the cwm you just installed.

If this is too difficult I think you may be stuck but maybe we can work something out with teamviewer..

Teamviewer would be a great help, like I said I tried to figure out the odin flashing and just got lost in the mix of it. If you want to drop me an email or something check my profile and shoot me a message. And we can figure something out. Thanks so much.

I made zips to root and unroot 2.3.6 but you need cwm flashed first. I can post them if you like.

On youtube their is a vid, & in the cwm section is where I seen it originally but its some simple shit bro lol I did it and I'm kinda a hippie lmao!

do you think that there will be another one click root? it would be nice for those of us who arent heavy modders but want the ability to access root for anything.
