Thank you, for all the people who cant get root ill help
That's what I'm trying to figure outDoes kingroot work with 7040t?

okTry charging your phone to more then 70%
Nope, 7040NDo you have the 7040T
Mine is the 7040tAfter reading everyone's success stories I have come to the conclusion that this only works if you have metro (7040n)
What build do you have?Nope, 7040N
Did you get it to work?Mine is the 7040t
that's not the app is this one Kingroot.net/rootI'm not sure as to what version/program you're using. I downloaded KingoRoot from www.kingorootapp.com version 1.3.6 (latest) and nowhere am I seeing a blue root button on my phone or any of familiarity of your screenshots
Finally tried this suggestion on first try and it workedi own a zte zmax metropcs version and i was interested in buying an alcatel fierce 2 since a friend is opening a line and the deal is buy one get one free. when i used the kingroot apk to root the zmax i was running an emulator, snapchat and other apps. this allowed kingroot to run to 100%. also on xda forums other members have said that when they used the atuntu benchmark app kingroot worked alot better. just a friendly suggestion and hopefully it helps root the phone for you guys.
HOW!? this didn't work for me, tried multiple times. It worked, using cere18749's suggestion I downloaded AnTuTu Benchmark App from the Google Play Store, pressed "TEST", let it run until 10% and then pressed the home button to put it in the background and opened Kingo Root and it lagged quite a bit until about 70%; rebooted and was rooted! Just figured I'd be super-specific to let you all know how I did it. The best part was it only was after 20 tries -_- with clearing the data of Kingo Root in app info. Thank yyou all so much for your help I've been waiting months hopelessly following this post!
