Root Root for Gingerbread OTA

Hey guys, I'm kind of new to the whole rooting thing

I know back in the beginning when the DI2 got root it wouldn't work if you updated via OTA to Gingerbread 2.3.3
I was wondering if anybody is working on a type of Gingerbreak for the DI2 meaning it is possible to root it even though you updated to Gingerbread.

Any comments or help would be appreciated.

Note that there's a dedicated "root" section at the top (Incredible 2 All Things Root)
