Root Root for update V1.4.12 ?

What's up guys? I've got a pal who wants to root this, but he in installed an update to a build ending in V1.4.12 . I was checking to see if anyone has tried to gain root on this build yet. If not, we may give it a try (he hasn't decided yet), but I'm asking to maybe save us from wasting our time. Thanks for any input....

The root guide listed under stickies works fine. That is the software version I am on.
 
Nice thinking. Permission is very respectful, plus, those switchers can be a disaster if you don't know how to use them. They shouldn't be shared without Masterchief87's permission and instructions. Good job, sir.
 
If you could use a few tips, let me know, but you'll learn more figuring it out for yourself. And if you haven't tried Lollipop yet, you may lose interest in KitKat when you do. It's pretty nice.
