Root Root: gold card creation? size?

going to finally do my first HTC Inspire Root...

So the "gold card" creation: Since i store alot of mp3's on my phone, should i not get the largest card i can? or is this gold card just used for the root process

Gold card is just need during the root process. Once you're rooted the gold card is not necessary.
