Root Root help.

hey guys I've had my Samsung galaxy prevail for awhile but I discovered rooting. but I'm not sure exactly what to do to root my phone is there a easy way to do this because my internal memory sucks and there's apps I don't even use. if someone could please help greatly appreciated.
