I'd pay to root mine right now (lost root the other day with a firmware update and king won't work with this update and I don't have access to a computer to do the job properly :(
Miss my root apps

I feel ya bro, & been there. Had to break down & get a $150 laptop from a pawnshop. Now dualbooting Windows & Linux which turned into a good idea & helped the PC become a super Rooting Tool for whatever/any device I want or need. I CHOSE a laptop because you'll need administrative access to whatever PC you're trying to work with and & the Laps are also portable. I'd look into one...

I tried windows and Linux... I can't get anything to work past adb reboot bootloader
I must be real stupid... Because I got nowhere and tried for hours

i posted a big ol message about my situation and it acted like i quadruple posted...and my post is now gone after 2 lame messages......sweet

i could'nt get it to work with this guys instructions....but it led me to Team Nocturnal...and i got the drivers from there once you get it to boot into fastboot....unplug the usb cord....plug it back in and check device manager to see if there is an issue with the drivers (that was my problem) after you install the right driver...type fastboot devices,,,and it'll show up...then follow the last instructions from XDA ...
you probably allready have the right stuff on your SD card since you're allready tried...so ......................
adb reboot bootloader

while you're in fastboot ...

fastboot flash recovery twrp_recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
then
while in bootloader mode, press volume down until recovey mode is diplayed, press power.

In TWRP recovery install remove_encryption.zip, SuperSU246.zip, once completed reboot.

DO NOT FORMAT SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then smile if it worked :)

it was all about the right drivers for fastboot......

MAD PROPS TO VAMPIREFO!!!!!!!!!
and everyone else that tried to help...TY TY TY TY

?... That wasn't post 500 ...I haven't done 500 posts... Dunno what I was thinking... Musta been lost in the excitement about figuring out what was right in front of me....
Sooooooooo........
