Has anyone figured out how to be in infrastructure mode when tethering?
I am using barnicle at the moment for wifi tethering for a laptop but would like to use my kindle fire which can't run ad-hoc for wifi only infrastructure is what I learned...I think....lol. thanks for your help!

androidarea51.com has a kernel that will do it in one step, or you can install CWM and do what you want from there.

i also have a samsung illusion and you might of tryed this already but try framaroot version 9.2 i tryed and worked verywell just downloaded and choose a exploit and root and done / i did try other version of framaroot and didnt work but the last version worked really well .

I got a problem. I'm new to rooting and recently installed framaroot. I used it and according to root check it was successful. I know because I was able to delete some stock apps.however something went wrong and I can't get the privileges back. AVG scan told me I'm still in high privilege mode and apparently I'm still rooted but its like I'm in purgatory.I did a factory reset but beyond that not sure what to do.I'm not necessarily anewb, but I know nothing about the OS or scripting. Help is appreciated.
