Root Root in riverside ca

I realy want to root my eris, but can't because #1 my pc is old, slow, & lame & # 2 my wifes laptop has been all locked up by her I.T. guy @work so I can't download anything unless I'm logged in as an administrator. So I was wondering if there is anyone in Riverside CA that would be willing to help me out ?.....c'mon, I'll buy ya a pizza r sumthin

I literally just rooted using this method about an hour ago... very simple and relatively quick. No need to download anything on your computer, just strait to your phone... I just used the computer to follow the instruction.

P.S. I recommend reading through all of the instructions before beginning... as with any root process however, proceed at your own risk. Just for my own 2 cents, I LOVE my rooted eris (granted I'm new at it) but cant wait see how much better my phone works.

You really don't need an incredible PC to root a phone. I could probably do it on my Pentium II if I wanted to.

But with that new rooting method, you don't even need a PC which is great.

Hey thanks so much everyone for your input and offers to help but i was able pull it off with the root for dummies. Now im rooted,overclocked,& happy this will pacify me until i get the droid X
