Here goes the direct link to the code. Some people are having issues with it not showing up on the Developer Center.

Its posted in the xda forum as well, which is where most of the people who play with this sort of thing hang out. I just figured it would be alright to have a link here since i couldn't find one. But thanks for the direct link, if it helps us move any closer i'm happy :)

According to Engadget, the OTA update only applies to users that have the $40.00 corporate data plan. Most of us just have the $29.99 data plan. The update is a fix for Exchange users. I use Exchange via Sense UI, but I don't believe the update applies to us.

I am not exactly sure what the $40.00 vs $30.00 data plan gives you. I thought it gave you the ability to sync with Exchange, but maybe the Sense UI does this w/o the extra data plan?

we are getting a little off topic, but I thought with the Droid you had to have a 3rd party app to do this? Like Touchdown?

Yup, we are. Not that I am aware of. I know my mother syncs with exchange and she does not have Touchdown or any other 3rd party app. She is on the 29.99 plan too

it's for people who have blackberry enterprise servers at there work, and when your work exchange servers have alot more security

I don't believe that is the case. Why would it have anything to do with the BLACKBERRY Enterprise Server?

Will Blackberry Connect and BES be supported on the Nexus One? - Android Help
I guess you asked so BlackBerry - PDA Phones - BlackBerry Connect at BlackBerry.com
alot of companies only use BES, and not many people know they could get exchange without a corporate account, which i think touchdown allow BES i'm not really sure since i don't have any business experience

Dont think it has to do with the Sense UI, I know the Droid syncs with the lesser plan

I'm sync'd at work to Exchange on the $29.95 plan with no additional software. Works just fine.

Hope the Exchange police don't catch me using an inferior, cheaper plan... ;)

Kinda bummed. I was thinking the root might be easy..now the guys at xda have me thinking this might actually be work to root this guy. I guess that would have been one awesome thing about getting the nexus one on Verizon.

It came out less than a week ago, give them some time. It will come soon.;)

Amen to the waiting games...I waited about half a year before the Omnia got cracked and new ROMs were being cooked!!

lol i knew i was gonna get ragged on that...i just wanted a quick answer all the ones i've dl'd aren't working for it n the one i had for my moto didn't work either syrguy how you liking that DI haven't seen u on here for a while figuring you've been toying with that thing

Next time please post it in the open forum, not a thread stickied and devoted to news about rooting the phone.

You think we may be able to "mount" the internal memory to the sdcard? So maybe all the other apps can see it then? This is a basic feature of most operating systems (having one drive show up as a folder on another drive)....

Should theoretically be possible once we root...... and would solve a ton of problems with using apps.
