Can I root this phone without a PC?

I know there are methods on other phones that allow this type of root. But I have not seen on yet for the Samsung Transform Ultra.

There might be away to do this if you were able to name the file before the menu in the orginal recovery stops showing (can't scroll the whole sdcard). But I would not recommend it as I haven't tested it AND I WOULD NOT TELL ANYONE TO DO ANYTHING IF I HAVEN'T PERSONALLY TESTED.

Well, what if I shipped my Transform to you. Would you root it and mail it back if I paid you?

Lol then it could be done by computer. If you are able to use a buddies computer, it might take 15 mins Max to root it for a first timer. If your experienced less than a minute. That is still the simplest way. Let me work on it tonite and see what I can come up with.

EDIT: what android version are you running? 2.3.4 or 2.3.6? And if possible, you would have a new rom when I do it. Your phone will no longer be stock.
